Alexandra Maria Lara has been an Romanian/German film and television actress for a long time. Alexandra is famous for her parts as a character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra Maria Lara the sole child of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. In her early teens, Alexandra played the leading part in a variety of television dramas. Her critically acclaimed role in the made-for-television film Der Tunnel paved way for more notable roles like Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudl Junge, in the critically and commercially popular Oscar nominated historical war drama film Downfall. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were also Oscar-nominated. Alexandra's career has seen her participate in several notable international and national projects. These projects comprise British biographical film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many others. In addition, she was a member of both The Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
