Matthew Matt James, born on the 5th of December, 1991, in North Carolina. The is the son of Manny James, and Patty James of mixed race. He has an Nigerian father and a Caucasian woman. He graduated in 2010 of Sanderson High School and furthered to Wake Forest University where he completed a bachelor's in economics in 2015. James gained fame as he made his television debut as an on-screen reality show star during The Bachelorette. James was selected as the new bachelor on The Bachelor season 25, being the show's first African American male star. The show debuted later in that year. James seems to be the ideal candidate for this role as is tall, beautiful and funny. Rachael Krakconnell, whom was his partner throughout the season. In the season 30, (in 2021) of Dancing with the Stars, it was a dance with Arnold. James and Arnold came in 12th place.
